Meet Dr. Alexandria (Alex) Balthrop PT, DPT
My name is Dr. Alexandria (Alex) Balthrop. I discovered pelvic floor physical therapy through my own post-partum journey. While I have experience in many settings, pelvic rehab is where I found my place and my calling. I graduated with my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Bellarmine University in 2015 and began specializing as a pelvic floor therapist in 2019. I am truly passionate about what I do and strive to provide a warm, safe and supportive environment for my clients to heal and achieve their goals.
I completed my pelvic floor training through the Herman and Wallace Institute with additional training in manual therapy and dry needling. I love to learn and challenge myself, always seeking opportunities to grow and provide the best care for my patients.
My husband and I have moved around a bit, but are happy to have been settled in Murfreesboro since 2019. This is where we started our family and I am a proud boy mom of two. In my free time Iām usually running around trying to keep up with them but also enjoy running as a sport. I also enjoy reading, watching football and spending time with friends.
Alex sees in-home patients in Murfreesboro and the surrounding areas.
